The FST society aims to increase cohesion within the Food Science and Technology community, provide opportunities for members to be exposed to topics and issues related to food that may not be covered in the Food Science and Technology programme curriculum, provide an avenue for students not in the Food Science and Technology programme with interest in food related issues to pursue it, increase the public’s awareness about Food Science and Technology and to build an identity for the Food Science and Technology programme.

Dear FST family,

It has been and is an honor to serve the FST community as part of the EXCO. The EXCO that I have once relied on to assimilate into the family. So a huge thank you to all the past EXCO members for all your hard work. I would like to throw out thanks to the back bone of FST society; our student advisors: Dr Liu Mei Hui & Ms Lee Chooi Lan. Their tireless feedback and creative ideas have allowed for FST to be the vibrant place it is today.
In 2017, We rolled out a new event the FST sports day where undergraduate students from all years could participate and interact. Postgraduates please look out for our next sports day! This time everyone will be invited!

In the upcoming 2018, do look out for a whole range of events. The ice cream and baking course would definately blow your mind away with Nathalie's innovative menu. Also do come down to support us on Science day, Valentine's day and FST day. We can't wait to see you guys there!
